How filing works in Georgia
Georgia uses the same 90-day window for GCs, subs and suppliers, which makes it simpler than most states. The hard part is speed after filing: the copy to the owner is due within 2 business days. We file and mail together so that deadline doesn't slip. Liens are recorded with the superior court clerk in the county where the property sits.
