Two ways to get paid

Pick the one that fits where you are

You did the work. You bought the material. Now the invoice is 90 days late and nobody's calling back. Here's how we get your money moving.

Mechanics liens

Still in your lien window?
File first.

A lien puts a claim on the property. Owners, lenders and title companies take that seriously. Liens from $199, filed in about 2 business days.

Who we work with

Built for the trades

GCs, subs, suppliers and remodelers. If you put work or material into a project and didn't get paid, we can help.

Not sure which one you need?

Tell us about the job. We'll tell you the right move.

Call with the job address, your last day on site, and what you're owed. We'll check whether you still have lien rights or whether it's a collections file.

If a lien makes sense, we'll say so. If it doesn't, we won't sell you one. When you call, you talk to the person who handles your file, not a call center.

How it works

From unpaid invoice to paid in five steps

1

Send the job details

Property address, who hired you, your invoice and your last day of work or delivery.

2

We check deadlines

State, project type and dates tell us if lien rights are still open.

3

We pick the path

Lien if you're in the window. Collections if you're not, or if the lien hasn't paid.

4

We file and serve

Liens get recorded and served. Collection files get a formal demand and follow-up.

5

You get paid

Then we file the release or close the file.

Lien deadlines don't wait.

Most states give you only a few months from your last day on the job. Some require a notice within weeks of starting. Call as soon as a payment is late.

What Our Customers are Saying

FAQ

Questions contractors ask us

What's the difference between a mechanics lien and collections?

A lien is a claim against the property you improved, and it has strict deadlines. Collections goes after the person or company that owes you, and it can work after lien rights expire. We do both.

How much does a mechanics lien cost?

$199 to $500 per lien. That covers preparing, notarizing, recording and serving the lien. County recording fees are included.

My lien deadline passed. Am I out of luck?

No. You lose the lien option, but the debt is still owed. We can still pursue it through collections.

I already filed a lien and still haven't been paid. What now?

A lien doesn't always produce a check by itself. We can open a collections file on the same debt and push for payment directly.

What states do you work in?

Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, Virginia and Washington.

Are you a law firm?

No. We're a lien filing and collections company. If your matter needs a lawsuit or legal advice, we'll tell you so you can bring in an attorney.
